Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, here we go: I am very happy to announce that my third Nexus, the Galaxy Nexus, has been delivered by the Royal Mail at exactly 7.30 this morning direct from Amazon UK!
You are invited to rejoice with me!

I have read everything that has been written and seen all the videos so far shown, but I can guarantee you guys that it is going to take quite a while before anything can rival this little gem - you can take my word for it!
I have now copied across 9 gigs of music and some video - boy, what a beauty!

I now need Google Music and crucially, Google Voice to land here in the UK and I'll be content for a loooonng time to come!:p

You can use Google Music over here already I have been doing so since someone was kind enough to show me how (and invite me since it was still in beta at the time). You only need to use a US proxy when you sign up for the service and you will not be able to purchase music (or even download free stuff from the store) without a US credit card. Virtual CC's are available if you wanted to go down that route.

Back to the phone, yes she is a beauty isn't she. Had mine for a week and a half and love it.

Pleeeaaasse tell me how to!
You have to wonder why Google is continuing to undercut us in the UK.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, the phone is great!
I guess I understand why Google/Samsung are not too concerned about the look of the external hardware part of the phone: if you are vesting it with a gel or silicone cover, then it really wouldn't matter what the aesthetics look like afterall.

Got mine last Saturday while I was away so I had to wait until I'm back home to set it up! Fantastic phone so far!

You, ladies and gentleman, make me sick. You all got Tickle Me Elmo's while we're stuck with Slinky's..... :-)

Haha! Had mine for a week and loving it. Hopefully Verizon subscribers will have a Christmas miracle with this launch.

All us Sprint customers are sitting here crossing our fingers we will see this phone before May. Insanely jealous at this time. Don't get me wrong, I love my rooted Evo 4G, but I WANT A GNEX!

Oooookay, end mini-rant. Merry Christmas everyone.

I got mine on Friday. Loving it so far! I am new to Android, and I love the customization and freedom. The screen is breathtaking. I actually enjoy watching YouTube videos on a phone now! It's smooth and vibrant. My only concern is the camera. Coming from the iPhone, it is a major step down, but I own a DSLR. No worries there.

Any idea if the LED notification light has different colors? I only get white to show up (for e-mail and texts so far)

Theres an app called Light Flow, lets you basically change anything to be any color among other sweet settings. Enjoy!

had a blackberry before... got my gnex last week and i havent looked back since... this phone is a dream!!!

Just got mine today! One dilemna: How do I transfer over the stuff on my SD card?

You should be able to just copy and paste it all over. For example, if you have Music, Images, And videos etc folders from one phone, plug it in the computer with the GNex as well, then just drag and drop them in or copy paste. Whatever suits you!

Edit: Here's a link to a thread with the same discussion.
