Hi All,

Just after joining as I have an issue with my One S that is annoying me. Hopefully someone can help or maybe someone has the same issue?

When I make a call, the proximity sensor (dim red light, right of the HTC logo) turns on and works normally (screen turns off when something is near) and when the call is ended the dim red light turns off again.
When I make a call and use the speakerphone the sensor turns on, does not work and when I end the call the sensor remains on.

I either have to restart the device or make another call (without speakerphone) and end it to turn the sensor off.

Is anyone else having this issue? Or maybe someone knows what is causing it?

I'm fairly sure the issue is not hardware was I've ran the HTC function test and the proximity sensor passes.

I've talked with HTC support, they guided me through clearing the cache partition which didn't work.

Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mention that the problem only happens when the call is ended with the speakerphone active. If I turn off the speakerphone before ending the call it does not happen.
