PS TO hello. Bluetooth to Stratosphere is unrecognized format

Apparently there is one way to transfer text from verizon 'droid stratosphere to iMac via Bluetooth: save it as .txt. Bye-bye any font, color, (hyperlinks?) or other formattinng you might have done: all down the sewer.
So WTF good is Quickoffice (imitation MS Office) if it can't travel out of your pocket?

Oh phooey, I am so mixed up this morning. I meant FROM IMAC TO DROID. Save in TextPad, hit Cmd-Sh-T to turn off all fonts and formatting, and save as .txt. THEN you can Bluetooth it to your paranoid Android, which will recognize the most basic of all text formats. Otherwise, not.:'(
