PS1 Gamepad - Controller issue in the games - Just D-Pad works

Hello everyone,

I just bought a PS1/PS2 to usb converter.I plugged my PS1 controller to the my Tab Pro 8.4. It is recognized, I could move around the menu and select , all buttons are recognized.
However, when I get into a game (Fifa or Apshalt) ,only D-pad and analog buttons work. Other buttons are not recognized.

P.s: When Apshalt sees the controller,It shows a button layout on a Xbox controller.It doesnt show the layout on Playstation controller.

Does it mean that games are recognizing the gamepad as an another gamepad,that is why buttons are not functional?

Welcome to the forums. The games are from Play? If so, they may not be entirely compatible with a function like this.

Sure, they were all downloaded from play. The problem is that , they recognizes the gamepad,but just let me use the d-pad. Other buttons are out of function.
And also i would like to add this ; when i start the asphalt , from the beginning, it recognizes the game pad and show the layout , and says ''press any button'' , at that moment i press ,for example, the X button.Game recognizes it ,but then this x button are not recognized in the game.
