PS3 wont detect my Epic

I downloaded the latest Samsung usb driver for my Samsung Epic. The only difference I can tell after downloading it is that my PS3 will not detect my phone anymore when connected through the usb. As soon as I connect it, the usb screen pops up on my phone that shows charging, mass storage and tethering. After clicking mass storage it ask if I want to mount to transfer data which would normally work after this. Now all it does is keep mounting and unmounting my sd card over and over until I finally unplug my usb. Is there any way to go back to the old driver or at least try to fix this problem. The only thing I can guess is that the new driver isn't compatible with my ps3 which would be really annoying. I've tried a hard reset as well but that didn't work. If anyone possibly has a link to the old usb driver that would be great even though I know it would be hard to find since that is the original driver that came with the phone when released so I don't see why Samsung would have a download for it.

Do you mean a software update for the phone? Or firmware update on the ps3? Anyway it's probably the cable you are using... actually I guess it isn't the cable. Mine won't connect anymore either.
Strange.

Don't have anything to do with the PS3 firmware, this problem started as soon as I updated the usb driver from the Samsung website. I've used 2 different usb so I don't believe its the actual cable. I just hate that such a simple update can ruin the way I transfer files from my phone to my ps3.

The usb driver is only for your computer. It has nothing to do with connecting your phone with your PS3

In that case I ain't quite sure then where the problem started. My epic used to come up under Samsung Device under my ps3 and I was able to see my pictures, song, videos etc..... I guess I'll continue to use Allshare which don't work too good and is slow at times until I upgrade to another phone. Crossing my fingers for the Galaxy S2 to come to Sprint.
