Purchase extra battery kit?

Unlike the US, we in Canada are not able to receive the free extra battery and sd card deal - so I want to purchase an extra battery kit. Sounds simple, right? Well unless I'm on hokeypokey drugs, no one seems to actually sell them!
 
LG did a terrible job at selling accessories last year for the G3. You're going to have to wait for these to pop up on Amazon.

Thanks for the insight -- I guess once the initial phone release is done, they'll be able to gauge needed accessories for the various markets.
 
I tweeted at LG and asked how we go about buying a battery and their response:

I noticed that Verizon had both spare battery and plastic battery door available (separately) as accessories during the pre-sale period. Neither were available when I ordered my G4 yesterday, though. I'm not sure if they just sold out, or never really had them available yet. It was just a battery (no charging dock as in the freebie package).

I would be interested in selling mine to you. Haven't received it yet but don't really plan on keeping it

Wow! They actually replied to something? Amazing. I've tweeted them repeatedly about QC 2.0, they never reply. I guess the battery makes them money so they are more keen to reply.

They have poor customer service, but make up for it with awesome product. I tweeted about them as well about QC and they ignored me, too. Once, though, they did reply and asked me which carrier I had. After responding, they started ignoring me again.

They should really just put these spare batteries and chargers on their web store. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to find them.

I agree - LG doesn't make it easy to buy their accessories. I wanted to pick up a second wall charger but couldnt find anywhere to buy the same model number as the one which came in the box. I'm sure any 1.8a unit will work but would prefer to get the official LG version.
