Purple spots on galaxy screen

Hello,
Three months ago I bought the Galaxy note 4
The device works great, but yesterday morning I saw a few small spots on the screen and after a few hours the spots the stains began to spread on the screen.
I just want to to understand what just happened to my device
Would appreciate help thanks!

The galaxy note 4 has an amoled screen. Unless you have a defective screen protector on it, it sounds like the display is failing. Since you've only had it about 3 months, it should still be covered by your carriers warranty, and certainly will be covered by Samsung still. (assuming you bought it new/refurb, and not used off someone else).
