pushed back another day....

Not pushed back AFAIK, none of the original preoders have been notified of a change in shipping/delivery. As people currently place preoders, they are notified of a later shipping date, which makes sense, since there is a limit to the number of devices that can be shipped in one day. As the number of devices eclipses what they are able to physically ship, they are updating the shipping date to reflect that as you make later and later preorders, they will also ship later. Makes perfect sense to me.

Looks like phonearena just wants attention. Wonder if they'll have any articles when the iphone launches and gets "pushed back"

Just because the ship date on NEW orders are a couple days later doesn't mean that it's been pushed back. Just means they can't ship anymore for the days before.

As I've said elsewhere, a team of humans in a warehouse can only pack and ship a limited number of devices in one day. This to me just means that Verizon has so many orders that they have met their shipping quota for the 9th, then the 10th, and so they've moved on to the 11th.

As more people continue to pre-order the shipping quota for the 11th will fill up and orders afterward will be pushed to the 12th... at which point we'll have another "oh noes!!1! verizon has moved the date again, LULZ" thread
