Putting music on N5

How do I put on music on N5? Is there a way to do it manually? I don't want to use Google Play Music.

Where are you music files coming from? Your computer? If so why don't you just plugin via USB and drag and drop your music selection.

Sigh this was so easy when all phones had SD cards

android file transfer. Drag & Drop to MUSIC folder.

I personally have no problem with Google Music but I'm sure others can recommend something.
