[Q] Can't show email for security reasons

I have been experiencing the same issue on both my Gear S, Gear Fit, and Gear S2 devices. I know that it has something to do with the our IT security policy, which does require that a PIN be created on mobile devices before the sync is enabled.

My understanding (at least for our internal IT policy) is that unless the device has remote wipe capabilities, then the emails cannot be displayed on the device. Samsung has yet to implement this feature on the Gear devices.

The lastest major update for Gear S2 has fixed this exchange email issue. Now you have to set up a PIN or password.
Good news !

Hey duongla, you mentioned something about this issue being fixed with the latest update, but unfortunately I'm still getting this error. :-(

What carrier are you on and what version of the software? My Gear S2 is with T-Mobile and I'm on version 2.2.16070451

I have also setup a pin on my Gear S2 and already had one setup for my phone. Any ideas?

Thank you

I have the Verizon version and I'm still not able to view emails on my watch. I'm also wondering what version you have where you got an update that fixed this issue? I spoke to Samsung and Microsoft today and neither of them had a clue.

I'm using Nine so I can at least view the emails, but ideally I'd like to have access to all my emails whenever I need them.

I have been able to read all emails on my watch since I bought my gear and now my gear s2 UNTIL THE LAST WEEK OR SO. Now I am getting this security policy message on both my home and work accounts. Any ideas?

I got this message on my watch this morning for all emails received since midnight in my exchange account. Then half an hour later, they started showing up again on the watch. I didn't touch my phone at all or change anything on my watch during that time; they just started working on their own. No idea what's happening.
