Hey Guys and Gals,

This is my first android phone and I'm still learning the ins and outs of this phone and have had it for 3 days now. I'm coming from an HTC Touch Pro.

I've noticed that on my GS II that the only way to see the overview, or some others have called it "helicopter view", of all the home screens is to pinch close on any home screen, whereas on my sister's HTC Inspire 4G, all she has to do is press the home button when she is on the main home screen. Is that normal for the GS II, or TouchWiz? Is there a way to change it so it'll act the same way as my sister's phone?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Seems like each UI manufacturer skin has a different way of doing things. Will definitely try a launcher.

I believe go launcher lets you get there by pressing the home button...
1st press opens launcher.... 2nd will go to the "home" page if you aren't there already and then one more press goes to "helicopter" view.

i use 6 home screens and run Launcher Pro. when i press HOME from the home screen, it will "helicopter view" all 6-screens where then i can choose which one i like.

Yes it's normal and as the others have pointed out alternative launchers will do the trick.
