Q link scepter 8 tablet question

Since there is no sim slot on the scepter 8 does that mean it's no capable of having a data plan at all even if I purchased it somewhere ?

We get this question about this tablet a lot. No SIM slot means no cellular connectivity (in this case anyway, eSIM will change this definitive response in short order)..
