[Q] OTA EE4 update didn't work?

So I was on stock rooted ED1. I edited the build.prop to ED2 so I stopped getting the OTA notifications. After reading endless posts and threads up kernels and ROM's I decided to take the EE4 update and move forward. I edited the build.prop back to ED1 and accepted, downloaded and installed the EE4 update (it skipped over the ED2 update, automatically downloaded the EE4 - not sure if that matters or not) Either way, after the reboot, my Baseband and Build number still say ED1. Any ideas? I still have Super User access so I can only assume the update didn't go through.
