My version is xda, the version is 1.56.30.7625.t100

Anyone can help?

also,

why there is no adv. keyboard layout, what advantage the basic keyboard layout doesnt have? how could i get it?

Thank you

Swype from the swype key (lower left) to the SYM key next to it. That will open the menu your pic showed.

Also, from the swype key, you can also swype to the 5 at the middle of the keyboard to open the numeric pad.

PM me if you have any questions.

Android phones are fun as hell to hack, and I agree the lack of a Swype for everyone is a bit frustrating, but you have to expect issues with "pirated" software.

The hacked version you got from xda wasn't built for the Evo so it lacks some of the features. All I can suggest is that you keep your eyes open for the next Swype open beta and get signed up.

Awesome tips, thanks, I got it.

What about my another question? I mean, there is "advanced" keyboard, which i actually didn't know until i checked official website. what is for?

Appreciate it, man. I kinda ran out of patience for their official version

I'm unfamiliar with what you're referring to about an advanced keyboard, sorry :(

Slightly confused and sorry if I'm tread-jacking, but the EVO didn't come with Swype? I only ask cause one of the first things I did when I got my EVO was install Swype since I was invited into the official closed beta. I though I read somewhere that Swype was pre-installed into the EVO. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
