Qi Charger or Battery Pack?

If you guys had to choose one, would you invest into a Qi wireless charger? or an external-portable battery pack?

It also depends on your usage pattern. Are you using it a lot when away from home? If so, then an external battery pack makes more sense.

They're made for different things. It's not really an either/or situation.

Does wireless charging have any negative effects on the battery? Also I've read that wireless charging is slower than wired charging and also overheats your phone more easily.

I haven't noticed any negative effects, only positive for me. I don't find that it charges the phone that much slower, and if it does then its not a huge big deal to me. I also don't find my phone being any more overly hot then normal or when using the chord, but that's of course just my opinion.
