QIK Bug Problem

Has anyone else experienced this problem when using the QIK App? When I call someone they can see me, but cannot hear me. Then they can hang up call me back and I can see them, but not hear them. What gives? Is there a known issue with this? any fixes? Then are there better tested options? Skype, Tango or Fring any better? Heard you have to pay? Yes free app, but pay to use service? any solutions out there? thanks.

I only used Qik a few times before switching to Tango...

I do remember that using Qik, the person that calls has to push a talk button on the screen so the other person can hear them.

See, the Epic has a "talk" button to the left of the "end call" button. Give that a shot.

Yes, one person needs to use the 'push to talk' button. The purpose behind it I assume was to avoid the 'feedback' issue of whats being played through the speaker being picked up and transmitted through the mic.. Supposidly the updated version in the market has fixed that? I haven't tried it yet.

QIK was updated yesterday and no longer requires the push to talk button.
