I had that problem, what I found it to be was the original qik service hadn't been stopped. I went into Task Manager, selected services closed the Qik service, then when I reopened Qik everything worked perfectly. HTH
I had the same issue. Go to settings, Applications,Manage Appl, Go to qik video info and clear data. Once I done that it started to work.nope tried that turned phone off and on several time unistalled and reinstalled and nothing
i could never figure out how to make it work so that the person i am chatting with could HEAR ME...i could hear THEM but they couldnt hear me...what am i supposed to be pushing to enable my voice?
Get them to download the update as well. Last time I chatted with my gf, we were surprised it worked where we didn't have to hold down a button to speak.
I don't know if you should, but I did. It doesn't seem to be an issue.
Tango seems to be pretty well liked. OoVoo would be fine if it didn't burn my battery up with constant syncing. I've tried it three times and all three times had to uninstall it to stop massive battery drain.
I prefer Qik over Fring,Tango & Yahoo. What I like about the new version of oovoo is the phone to mac & pc video calling is actually working. The only thing that is frustrating is that it signs me out anytime I go from 4G to 3G or Wifi. Hopefully it will be fix in an update.
