Qmadix Holster Shell Combo Review

Whats goin on everyone? I just purchased a Qmadix Case for my Nexus off of ebay. Retail price for it is $29.99 but I got it for $19.95 shipped. Here is the auction:

I was looking for this type of case for my Nexus. I keep most of my Android Phones naked and dont put silicone cases on them. Only when I have it at the house. But when I go out, I prefer either a leather holster or a hard shell clip case. So I looked around and came up with this one searching on ebay. Ive never herd of the company before but it seems like a really good quality product. It has that hardness to it which is also texturized. Its 2 pieces. One that snaps on your phone and the other that is the clip part where you slide the Phone into it, face in. The inside of the clip has like this suade material for the screen. But the way the hard case goes on the phone, it has a small lip on the edges so that when you go to slide the phone in the case face first, the Lens doesnt really touch the inside of the case itself. But there is a suade piece there for extra protection. It has all the cut outs accessable. When you slide your phone into the clip, it has the bottom hole accessable for your headphones.

Ratcheting swivel clip so you can have it horizontal or vertical. I like it. The quality is really good and it fits the contours of the phone real nice. Its even shaped with a slight bend at the bottem (Both the phone hard case and Clip Piece) to match the way the bottom of the Nexus has that bend. It fits perfect, the ports are perfectly cut out. If anyone is looking for a case this style, I would highly recommend it. Im pretty satisfied. Never herd of the company before, but they get my approval. Check out the pics.

That looks a lot like of one the standard cases sold by VZW. Only theirs have kick stands on the back.

That looks a lot like of one the standard cases sold by VZW. Only theirs have kick stands on the back.

Well Ive decided to keep it actually. It does have a kickstand to. But its pointless, because you cant watch the screen from the front when its propped up on the kickstand. Just noticed this like 3 days ago. But I sold my Otterbox. I wasnt to fond of it. I have some of those Cruzerlite Cases coming in. They look pretty sweet!

I have the Verizon case and holster combo and mine doesn't fit with the extended battery, at least not the way it fits with the standard battery. The bottom edge of the phone juts out a little beyond the case with the extended battery and cover. If you take the extended battery cover off then it fits like a glove.

It will fit without the battery cover perfect. With it, its a little buldged at the bottem. I have it without my battery cover on and its totally fine. Tight hugging fit.

Here are some pictures of the Verizon case and holster with the extended battery and battery cover.

To me that doesn't come off as very well fitting. If I take the battery cover off then it fits like it does with the standard battery and battery cover.

Yeah. Thats exactly how the Qmadix case fits also. If you have the cover on there, it buldges out like that. But if you take the battery cover off, it fits fine. I just got the Cruzerlite Andy Android Case in. And it FITS with the Holster from Qmadix!
