QQ on Rooting

Ok. I want to root my phone so I can change my startup. My question, however, is can I brick the phone in the rooting process? I don't want to have paid all of that money for this phone and end up bricking it. Thanks!

Check out the rooting guide, to render your phone completely useless is near impossible. And after you have root, and run a nand back up, you can do whatever you want, mess it it every which way, and return to the exact way you had it when you made the back up.
