QR Barcode Scanner question

I recently got the QR app. When I scan a product Barcode it defaults to search Google.uk BUT I live in the US. The location in the app is correct just searches the UK site when you scan. I tried looking at the site. No help section.... Grr. Any ideas how to fix this?

I use barcode scanner by zxing team. Don't have any problems with that one and I don't see any way to change search areas. I like this one the best.
