QR/Barcode Scanner?

Does the S8 have a built in scanner or do I need to just download an additional app?

Well, there is a QR scanner built into the Samsung Internet app. Tap the 3 dots at top right and you should see it listed. It's worked fine for me for over a year — I've had no need of another QR app.

Thanks! I don't use the Samsung browser usually, but I will mess around with it to see if it's better than downloading a stand alone app.
