QR code not working?

I haven't used it much in the past but when I did it worked every time. Now however, the camera acts like it doesn't even see it. There has been at least 2 software updates since it was last used. Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a fix? TIA

Have you tried this with just the camera or a QR app?

Tried it through the camera with Bixby vision and the google assistant. Neither worked. Before the last update I used it and within seconds it came up with the items. When I first got the phone, "pre Oreo," everything worked. Slowly with each update things have ben going downhill.

Try clearing data,cache , force stop camera .
To do this long press camera app tap info then scroll to storage and clear both and back out and force stop

Honestly I couldn't tell you were venting. I would try it in safe to see if it is a third party app causing a conflict.

Hmmm, apparently Bixby vision doesn't work in safe mode. I guess I'll have to wait for the next update. Disliking Samsunk! more and more!!

Sorry Mustang, yes. I cleared the data, cache and force stopped it. I'll try it again. Guess I'll have to wait for the next update or the next note in July!

I Mike means a different qr reader, I did try googles and it didn't read any. I did do a complete reset and it did read, "one," but that was it.

Maybe I wasn't clear as I did only say reset, but yes I did a factory reset and it did read one but no other. When I did the factory reset I tried the reader before restoring or making any changes. Thanks everyone for the help but I think we're trying to revive a dead horse!

I also tried a microfiber cloth on the camera lens

Let's see maybe a bug , if next update fixes it.
