I know its not the end of the world but i expected more snap out of this processor. What are you guys getting? Thoughts?

I don't use Quadrant do get anything done, so....I don't care about it's Quadrant score. The phone seems pretty awesome to me so far.

My understanding is that Quadrant is not optimized for ICS. So the scores dont mean much.

on quadrant app description it says "Nexus S is not yet supported." so if it doesn't support nexus s i highly doubt it'll support galaxy nexus.

but if you like scores here is one from a more updated benching app...

I think I've read it at least 20 times now that Quadrant is not optimized for Android 4.0, so the scores will come in lower than expected.

Yeah I mean think about the razor has almost the same chip just a little older and that is reaching 2800

Ran this on my boss phone this morning, scores were much lower than anticpated.

In system information the processor shows 1200MHz capable, but showed 350MHz both times I ran the benchmark .

Thoughts welcome. . . Or would like to see a score from someone who can run it at full speed

Dont care abouth benchmarks, ICS was designed and optimized for this phone, it will play any game on the current market without issue, and there is hardly any lag.

There is no reason for benchmarks imo

People still use quadrant? Really?

It's not even optimized for dual core processors, not to mention 4.0.

Quadrant is absolutely useless. It would be like if I wanted to run 3DMark 2002 on my dual-core Dell notebook from 2010. Or if I wanted to run SiSoft SANDRA 2003 on my Core i7 iMac.

Silliness...

Quadrant isn't updated for ics devices yet. Plus do you need a high score to go show off to people? is it not snappy enough or are you just one of "those guys" who thinks his phone is better just because it has a higher score?

Tough crowd! I wasnt aware quadrant was no good for ics. I was mentioning because i thought msybe mine was a dud. Thanks heroes

Quadrant isn't optimized for ICS yet, try antutu or smartbench

Benchmarks are lame and don't mean anything when it comes to new developer phones.

If you bought a Galaxy Nexus for high benchmarks you didn't do your research.

jesus, you guys act like you have never done a f-ing quadrant benchmark!!!! it has over a million downloads!! cut the guy some slack. why would you not want to run a benchmark? why do sports cars always provide 0-60 numbers? holy crap.

OP. i guess you have realized now quadrant is not really relevant anymore. there are others as mentioned above to try

Not to mention 720p. I prefer linpack...mflops are more telling for everyday performance than some other synthetic benchmark... especially with a proprietary score system.

linpack scores are pretty weak. They are in the mid 40's for this phone. A exynos powered phone is in the 90's. I still want to see this phone though since I have been waiting forever to check it out.
