Question about Android messaging...

I'm a day one Pre owner ready to switch to the SG2 today, but I had one quick question regarding messaging. On webOS, one application handled all messaging on the phone (SMS, Gtalk, Yahoo, etc). It was all integrated seamlessly and was definitely a huge plus on webOS. I've seen some friends' Android phones and it seems like they need separate apps for each service. Are there any 3rd party apps that do what webOS can do?
