I know what ambient screen and auto brightness are. My questions is:

Can I disable to device turning on every time I lift my arm? It's basically the same thing as ambient screen because I move so much at work.

Welcome to AC :)
The ambient light sensor changes the brightness of the display based on the amount of light hitting the device. When it's dark, the display will be dimmer than when it is in direct sunlight. It is not the same thing as the device turning on when you lift up the watch

I think the OP is asking if there is a way for the 360 to stay off no matter how your arm moves. I noticed the same behavior when driving. While not in "ambient" mode, my 360 turns on quite often, even just when I'm talking to someone (I use my hands a lot for emphasis). An "always off" mode would be great to have for more active people. It you want it on, you would either touch the screen or push the crown button. I don't believe that is currently an option.

This should be an option...as should the ability to control the timeout of the screen. 5 Seconds is not enough for me and 7-10 would be much better. All our android phones let us control the screen timeout time. This is Android Wear showing its weakness. Google has built very little into options and settings with this. I needs a ton of improvement.

THIS!!! I've been looking around on forums to answer this... It's annoying - it goes into dim mode way too quickly - I'd like to set it to like 8 seconds, just like you said.

I'm assuming this will be added to the next Android wear version, but sometimes Google doesn't really listen to the people and they just do whatever the hell they want. =/
