Hi All,

My beat-to-heck OG Moto 360 was starting to flake out on me, so I bought a new Fossil Q Wander. Among the many differences between the two, the one that makes me scratch my head the most is the Bluetooth connection. On the 360, my phone would connect to it seemlessly, yet it would not show as "connected" in the Bluetooth settings. Since pairing the Q Wander and wearing it for a week, I've noticed the Bluetooth icon seems active (extra brackets emanating outwards) and it actually says "connected."

What's going on here and why the difference?

Bluetooth is a method of communications between two devices (kind of like saying "you'll communicate using speech"), it doesn't specify the format of the data, or even what data is communicated. We're far from having a real Bluetooth standard, where any Bluetooth device will work fully with another. You get what you get and, if you have a choice, you try different devices until you get enough of a match to be satisfied.

While talking about BT connection,I found something confusing.
As a companion watch,I use a watch helper to receive notifications. But this one eat much battery life,is there any other app?
