Question about camera shutter

Is there any way to use the volume rocker as a shutter button for the camera like i use to do on my old iphone 5? can it be done by any app or an option in the settings? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but im totally new to android os cause i was a long time iphone user but now im loving my note 3.

its not possible as far as i know

Yes you can. Open up camera, press the gears (settings) opens up a menu. Press gears again on the right of the menu. Scroll down to 'the volume key' and you can either make it zoom or shutter

Don't spread false information... it's just an option you need to check in the camera settings.

If you want, there are also other apps that let you not only customize the volume rocker buttons' actions but also use the power button and some even the home button, like Camera Zoom FX.
