I am considering this phone because of the sense 3.0 and GB. I'd like input from people who truly like this phone and has minimal issues with it. I'm currently considering leaving Verizon and my Thunderbolt behind. They're ridiculously expensive. Thanks.

Re: Question about Evo3d

Most of us like the phone on this forum. I'd suggest it, the only real issue I have with it is ridiculously slow internet from where I am. However, I've heard lots of people who are having the same issues.. but as long as I'm capable of streaming music from Pandora, then I am content with it. I was also able to stream Netflix as well. It's up to you though. Also, battery life isn't the greatest.. in fact, it's downright horrible. I can live with it though because I have constant power supply at work, but it is an issue if you don't have a back up battery and plan to be away from any source of power for a full day.

Don't let us persuade you to get a phone or not, it's ultimately up to you. Best of luck!

Re: Question about Evo3d

First check service in your area.

As for service, I left Verizon, because their tier plan is ridiculous.

T-mobile need to remove the word "Unlimited" in all their plans.

Sprint at least for now is truly unlimited both 3G and 4G... and like my old unlimited 3G broadband... hopefully grandfathered if they ever change.

Re: Question about Evo3d

I've had my E3D since 6/25 and am extremely pleased with it. On Sprint it's a free test drive for 30 days. Be sure to ask about $125 credit for porting your # to Sprint (thru 10/01/11) and about discounts for work, credit union, being a student. You might be eligible for up to a 25% discount on your monthly bill. Sprint also has "any mobile any time" so the only minutes deducted from your minutes are to landlines. So I would just go with 450 minutes, you can bump it up anytime if you need to. Good luck. :D

Re: Question about Evo3d

I really like the EVO3D. I haven't enjoyed a phone like this since the OG Iphone. in fact I enjoy it more. As far as batt life I think it's subjective to your use . Terrible batt life is a Blackberry 9630 with the stock batt 5 hours and you are done.

I live in Philadelphia and 4G is great here. No slow internet here so it's not the phone. There are spots here where 4G is on the light side.

The 3D rocks

Had mine before launch date and still can't put it down. Love this device. Best one i have ever had. My friends are amazed at how fast I can surf full web pages on 3g.

Re: Question about Evo3d

I have had the EVO 3D since 6/23 and am very happy with it. I have had no data connection issues, reception issues, photo quality is great, as is call quality. As mentioned above, give it the 30 days and also check with others in your area who have Sprint and get their opinions. Oh, I almost forgot... The mhl full mirroring of your phone's screen on your TV is a cool feature that I use a lot.

Don't believe the hipe from some folks.. I had the EVO 4g and people would put fake stats up and make up false battery reports on the Evo just to make the phone look good. Some people even went to the extremes of saying the battery would last 24 hours straight with heavy usage. I am no fanboy of any company at all and thats why I have no bias of any. The Photon is the best phone on Sprint hands down. I don't see how this guy don't have the factually known issues with his 3d as 90% of users are experiencing. The phone factually has reception, call quality, audio quality, speaker quality, camera quality issues that cant be resolved by a mere update. The phone was built poorly.

The Evo 4g is the greatest phone Sprint has ever had. The 3d is an Evo plus so I don't think you could go wrong with it. I prefer the Photon, but there's not a thing wrong with the 3d.

Hype??? Really? Fyi I am not "this guy." Shows how much you pay attention. My name is Carrie and I have a female avatar. Having said that, I'm not some "fangrrl" either. I am a very satisfied customer who is pleased with her purchase. I have reported my personal experience. Your experience may be different and if you prefer another device then by all means use your power as a consumer and get another device. You have quite the nerve to suggest that I am spreading propaganda. I repeat, for the millionth time... no reception, camera, call quality, or data speed problems whatsoever. This thing is smokin' even just on 3G. Oh, did I mention the mhl??? :-*

If the service in your area is bad then I would say jump ship and save the money! FIrst thing is first. Look up coverage!

If you think it will work give it a 30 day trial! Plus if you bring your cell phone number with you they GIVE you a $125 credit! Making your EVO even cheaper. If you go to best buy they will also buy your old Thunderbolt back from you. So if you can part ways with you. You may be able to walk out there without ANY money down. Sounds like a win win to me if you like the phone. Sense 3.0 to me is great! I enjoy this phone every time that I turn it on.

Sprint customer care has also been great for me over the few years. I left Verizon about 5 years ago. If you got any other questions def ask here! A lot of helpful people are on these forums!

Good luck!

Why are you here posting such BS? I have no such issues. 90% of evo3d users don't have the problems you describe.

Since he is supposedly so adamant about facts, I wonder where he got the 90% dissatisfaction rate he quotes? Sure, people have had issues and have posted about them. However, all newly released phones (even the Photon) have bugs that need to be worked out. HTC has already issued two updates, and HTC has also kept their word about the bootloader.

I know that I shouldn't feed the trolls. I try to conduct myself in a dignified manner, but this person just keeps attacking anyone who disagrees or successfully refutes one of his statements using cold hard facts (especially me for some reason) and getting by with it. Hopefully the mods will take care of him soon and he will just go away so we can resume talking about how awesome our phones are, share tips and tricks, and get to know each other :)

I've only had my 3D for a couple days but I love it. I had the Evo 4g before and that was the best phone I'd ever used.

Photon best phone, huh? Can ya hear me now?? Oh wait...ya can't...can you??!! Your audio just cut out and you have to reboot to make a phone call. Isn't that right there chief?? The Photon has a LONG list of issues too, including BUILD QUALITY! ...and many are returning them...just read the Photon threads.
