Question about going from iPhone to M8 and existing data

I am selling my M8 as I am moving to my work phone and suggested my dad my be interested because of the good sound and what a great phone it is. He has Iphone I believe and I am wondering how easy it is is to move his address book and data like maps and that over to the M8. He is not real technical so Verizon would need to do it. I am not real sure it would be as easy as his Iphone is for him.
