Question about leather/battery promo

When I went online to sign up for the free LG G4 leather back and battery promo I encountered some problems.
One field asked for 'zip format'.
As it was in the address format I put my zip code. Immediately an 'INVALID' flag appeared next to it. (triple checked, it was my valid zip code)
When I finished my application and submitted it no error was indicated. The screen cleared.
I didn't receive a confirmation email.
When I tried to check the status of my application, it asked for an application Id which I was not given.
Was I supposed to get an email?
What did you put in the 'zip format' field?
Any thoughts? Verizon customer.

Are you sure it wasn't asking you to upload proof of purchase and other data in a zipped file? I recently took advantage of the free leather back, battery, and charger, and I had to upload a photo of the MEID data from the box, and my receipt. I had the option of uploading as one attachment or two. Had I chosen 1 attachment, it probably would have asked me to zip the 2 separate files into a single file.

I immediately received e-mail confirmation of my submittable, so I imagine you should have. I suspect your submittable was not successful.

I would contact customer service and see if there's anything they can do for you.Good luck.

I have problems signing up around 6 am the other day. I waited until later on during the day and it worked. I uploaded a single PDF of the receipt and IMEI. I received an email immediately telling me it was successful.

I sent via email on the 10th, and received my back and battery today. I got the yellow one. Not my top pick but not bad.

Did you pick yellow, or did you pick "random"? I was unhappy with the choices as well, and while I normally would never go with red, the photos I found online made it look closer to burgundy than a bright red, so that was my pick. I'll definitely post photos when I get it.

Append: 17 days is pretty good from order to receipt on a promo item IMO. Congrats on receiving your extra goodies.

I listed my top 3, blue, orange, yellow in that order. I thought the yellow was going to be brighter. It's more mustar yellow.
