Thanks to WebOS quick install and SQLite, I was able to copy the memos on my PalmPre to a text file. The only problem now is I would like to load the memos onto my Epic. Is there a simple way to do this?

Not really....

But to move forward and be ready for any "cloud device" I would just turn them into individual Google Docs. That way you can get to them from anywhere.

That's what I did when I went from the Pre o the Epic.

Good Luck!

I use evernote, so it moved between devices no problem. If its not too terribly hard, you could get evernote on your pre, move all your notes, sync it to your evernote account, and then grab it on the epic.

If you have them in a .csv file, you might be able to import them into Note Everything. It has a option to import from Palm notes. You'll probably have to do some massaging of the csv file to get everything right.

Could be worth a shot. Thanks for the advice.

One question, once Evernote is installed on the Pre, how do I move my existing memos to it?

can someone who has moved their Pre memos to Evernote please explain how they did it?

I was able to covert my notes from pre to epic using evernote. I copied my notes from pre to evernote and it saved them then loggedonto my account on epic and the was all my notes. The hardest part was coping them to evernot and the was just copy and paste. I hope this helps

I copied & pasted mine as well after I got them on the computer, but I prefer Catch. It's been working well for me.
