Question about onedrive on s6 active

Hi,
I am planning on buying a new phone very soon through at&t. One of the two phones I have it narrowed down to is the s6 active. I was looking at on gsmarea and it says the for the s6 active you get 100gb free storage through onedrive. Is this still true? Because MS recently announced they are only allowing 5gb of free storage starting next year. But I am not sure if that is only for windows phone users (I am one) or any user that uses the free onedrive storage.

Can't say for certain if the 100GB OneDrive promo is still active or not, but I can say that if it is, MS's changes to OneDrive won't affect it. The changes apply only for free storage; this promo is the equivalent of 'buying' extra storage, which will give you 100GB for, I believe, two years. After that time is up and your promo expires, you'd be downgraded to whatever the current free tier is at the time (currently 5GB).

Oh ok that makes sense, the review did not mention it was a promo, I thought it just came with phone. Thanks for help! Also random question does the s6 have anything close to glance screen? Where it shows a preview of a text or email prior to unlocking it?

Yup, if you select so in the Settings, you can get previews of messages in the lockscreen as well as quick actions. Some apps let you have pop-up message windows like iOS.
