I want to get an Otterbox case for my Dinc but it doesn't show a holster for it. Do these cases come with holsters. Also which case do you prefer, the commuter or defender.

I was just watching a you tube video for both commuter and defender cases. The defender does come with a case but the commuter doesn't. I also called otterbox direct and they confirmed that they do sell the defender with a holster but do not sell a holster for the commuter series nor is it designed to be used with a holster.

I have always been an Otterbox lover, but if your are looking for something with a holster and that can be converted into a regular "Non-holster" case you should check out the Seidio Rugged series. The Otterbox Defender also does not protect the camera

I did look at the Seidio innocase rugged and actually just purchased on Amazon. It seemed a little bulky looking at the picture but I need a holster. I do not like carrying the phone in my pocket.
Price was best I could Find:

Subtotal of Items: $37.03
Shipping & Handling: $5.20
Super Saver Discount: -$5.20
------
Total before tax: $37.03
Estimated Tax To Be Collected: $3.19
------
Total for this Order: $40.22

I had an Otterbox on my Storm 2 which I just carried in my pocket. Obviously when I bought my Dinc I immediately ordered the Otterbox Commuter case for the new phone and carry it around the same way. Pocket, no holster. Belt holsters look stupid, imo. Only thing I don't like is that the case is a little bulky and detracts from the aesthetics of the phone, which is very well made, and slim. However, I'd rather protect it than have it look pretty.

Yup that the difference between those two style cases , too bad they dont make one for an xtended battery/door (2150mah battery). I might get one for my DX tho( depends on what it looks like ) since its already bulky kinda , like the DINC like it is with the xtra power ,lol :D

My coworker has the otterbox on his I-Phone and it is bulky but it feels better in your hand then without. The Dinc is nice looking without a case but its a little to slim and has fallen out my hands. Luckily it hasn't had a hard hit on the floor. I usually can slow it down with my foot before it crashes hard on the floor. Since I paid full price for it I need it protected. So I hope the Seidio rugged innocase will work for me.
