Question about Play Books

Is there a way to make the books I purchase from Google Play Books available to read offline? Or am I using data to read the book I buy?

You can choose to keep it on the device and it will be available offline. Hit the pin button. You can also choose in your settings to only download over wifi if data use is an issue.
