So, I've gotten a refurbished replacement for a malfunctioning thunderbolt.

Do I still have a 1 year warranty?

Yes, and if it was right before the warranty was up, it would be extended. No worries.

Like the poster said before, as long as you go through VZW for the replacements your warranty will carry.

Off topic a little bit but how was the quality of the refurb?

Superb. It's the first thunderbolt I've had without problems.

No kickstand peeling, no blemishes, no dead pixels. GPS works, power button works, little light bleeding, speaker is loud.

Seems refurbished is better than new stock.

Same here my refurb seems to be perfect and my original was too except for the kickstand.

Good to hear because I usually avoid refurb replacements like the plague because I have had horrible and I mean horrible experiences with that when I had my BlackBerry 9630.

A certified like-new replacement received as a warranty replacement has a stand-alone 90 day warranty, or it retains the original 1 year warranty from the first device you purchased, which ever is longer.
