question about SIM cards vs eSIM

Thinking of trading our generation 12 iPhones getting this phone for wifey and a Galaxy S23 for me. Our carrier is a small subsidiary of Verizon called Twigby. We each have SIM cards. Would anyone have an idea if these SIM cards will work in the two Samsung phones or do these phones only take eSIM cards? The the cell provider does not yet offer eSIM’s. So my question boils down to if these Samsungs accept regular or only eSIM cards, Thanks.

So far, only US iPhone 14s have the "feature" of not allowing you to use a physical SIM. Apple is so creative!
