Question about Swype

I have an older version of Swype (1.6) and after I updated to the newest version from the update, I have to say that it's not nearly as accurate to me, I'm constantly editing my typing, has anybody else experienced this? I ended up going back to the old version for convenience.

I switched to Better Keyboard. I used to adore swype but honestly I find the error-control in Better Keyboard so much better. I can type like 2x faster.

I had better keyboard, but I'm so used to Swyping now that I don't want to go back to normal typing lol. That being said, I do love the HTC_IME mod from xda.

the kitchen is pretty neat i just dont like how it leaves a black bar where the autosuggest would be when its not suggesting.

So, how do I get Swype for my Optimus? It's not in the marketplace, and I have no idea how else to get it.

Nevermind, I got it. Home screen > Menu > keyboard settings, and it's found in there.

It was included in the last OTA update from Sprint (v9) for the phone.
