When you have the notification on your lock screen that previews the message and tells you who it is from...is there a way to access the text from the text message preview/notification? I have tried swiping it,short and long pressing it and all it does is opens up a transparent white box below it but still shows the lock screen so I just have to go through the lock screen short cut. I much rather just clock the notification and it go to the message........

From the message preview you swipe down (finger on message preview) it opens the lock screen widget - then tap the message and takes you directly into it.

Was just about to type this. I assume they'll tweak that to make it easier in an update.

Yeah it really sucks and is not very user friendly but I will deal with it. It is just one annoying thing on an awesome phone!
You can always just use the notification shade to access the message from the lock screen, too.
