question about the gallery app in moto x

so i just got my moto x in the mail, love the footprint, the moto assist is interesting, active display is a game changer and the display is great!

the only problem is with the gallery. before, on my GNex, there would be a folder for camera, then downloads, then all of the albums including autobackup that i had synced on my google+. so if i made an album in google+ it would show up as a folder on my gallery app. although it only gave me limited options for editing, i could at least view it on my gallery app. i am not seeing it at all on my moto x. is it because of the stupid g+ gallery that they implemented or is there an option that i haven't tried or discovered yet to enable this?

i tried clearing cache and data, removing and re-adding google account, and im out of ideas now. please help!!

yes, it's because of G+ Photos app, I assume Google will combine those 2 in the future

ok so at this time, there is no way to have the google+ albums appear on the gallery app like it used to?
