Question about the HTC Evo

I am thinking of buying an HTC Evo but can't seem to find an absolute answer to one of my needs. Due to my work environment, I have to be able to sync via a USB cord. I use Microsoft Outlook for my contacts, calendar, notes, and tasks. Can someone tell me if HTC Evo can sync via the USB cord? I cannot use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

I currently use a Palm Pro on Sprint.

If I'm not mistaken there's something called HTC sync that let's you do this.

You can also sync your outlook to Gmail on your desktop and everything will sync through Gmail. Much easier IMO.

outlook sync people are freaks. Usually they wont sync with anything else but Outlook. Personally, I hate Freakin Outlook (due to my job and how much outlook sucks at syncing with our software).
