Question about the updates

So today the phone asked for a security update patch for March 1, 2016 and I update it then after the update in my Images file it said there is 5.10GB worth of pictures there but there is not, when I click on it it say "No items" so what to do?

First thing I would do is go into storage in settings and clear out your cache. Then reboot the phone.

If that doesn't work, go into recovery mode and clear the cache partition. Sometimes an update makes your storage wonky.

I always wipe the cache partition after every update. It's also the first thing to do if a device is acting weird. Doing so usually clears up lots of odd issues that crop up after updates.

I wonder why Google doesn't just make it part of the updating procedure to automatically clear the cache while it is rebooting?
