Question about versions, GPE vs developer and where to get factory image

The developer edition is basically the same as the carrier versions w/o carrier apps and with HTC sense right?

Where is the factory image for that phone? I don't see a developer edition listed for download:

I'm assuming the Gogle Play Edition is without HTC Sense etc. Rom that basically looks like Nexus etc.

Yes, but from what I understand, you might be far better off rooting and Flashing a custom ROM that is AOSP based as opposed to getting a GPE.

As for the developer question, I am not sure.
