Question about Wireless Tethering

My Note 2 is rooted and has AOKP on it. If I enable and use the Wireless Tether option, will AT&T find out and remove my unlimited Data Plan or do I need a third party app?

I realize you guys arent responsible for the outcome, Im just curious.

And no, I do not plan on using it extensively. Im planning short vacation soon and would love to tether to my iPad

Ive only heard of people getting caught when they excessively use it. Such as go over their data plan...either way they will text or email you first before they change your plan.
