I just rooted my Thunderbolt this weekend and put the latest DAS BAMF rom on as well. I have the update to fix the icons for gallery, etc that have facebook icons but I am not sure how to update that. Also, the icon for the battery meter is incorrect. After a full 8 hour charge it is showing 77% left. I know this cannot be as it will not get too low by then end of a full day of use. I had it down to about 30% so I know it is fully charging, just makes me question it at first. Is there any way to resolve this? One other item, the camera even with the device at 1.4ghz like it mentions does not seem to be near what it is stock. Any update on this?

Thanks for all the help.

place the downloaded zip on your sd card, reboot into recovery, choose zip from sd card, navigate to the zip that fixes these problems, flash this, then reboot

not quite sure i understand what the issue is here

the 1.4GHZ fix is to address the lag that some users saw in the ROM. it won't change the interface, only the perceived lag/jitteryness of the camera

OP, check the thread over at XDA (yes, I know it's huge).

The long charging times with the Gingerbread ROMs is common, but can be fixed I believe with a little tweaking. I personally am still running Froyo, so I'm not 100% sure if I'm correct here (and why I advise checking the XDA thread), but I believe it's recommended to something like this:

Charge to 100%, unplug device
Reboot into recovery (without the power cord attached)
Clear battery stats
reboot
wait 3 minutes after boot before doing anything.

I think it's also recommended after doing a clearing of the battery stats to allow the device to discharge as much as possible, and to be sure to then charge back up to a full 100% on the next cycle.

Here's once particular page that I'm pulling this info from:
[ROM][6.20.11] BAMF GingerREMIX v2.1 - HUGE TOOLKIT UPDATE PLUS MORE! - Page 103 - xda-developers

ah yes--what he ^^^ said

also, rebooting WHILE charging can speed it up
AND
upgrading your kernel to something like Imo's 3.0.1 can fix the slow-charge issue

been running into this problem after flashing diff 2.0.5, .6, and now 2.1 but there's work arounds :)
