Question AT&T G Pro owners

Hello all, I have had my Optimus G Pro sitting for a while, became frustrated with the phone after the Kit Kat update. Have been using a Moto X but my daughter's phone died and I gave her my Moto X. This phone use to be one of my favorite phones, but maybe I just forgot it's this bad, my LTE download speeds are terrible, between 1.2mb and a high of 3.7mb down, the battery is at 33% after 9 hours and 1 hour 23 minutes screen on time, I don't remember this phone being so bad, anyone else have this kind of poor performance? I wonder if 1) my nano sim in an adapter is the signal problem, but the same sim card in my Moto was getting 25-38mb download speeds, and 2) even though I removed the battery the whole time the phone was sitting, could it still have lost its capacity to hold a decent charge? This phone use to last me 16 -18 hours with about 3 1/2 hours screen on time and a bunch of phone calls. Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

P.S. yes, I did a full factory reset and started from scratch, the phone it's not very old bought it a year ago, but probably only had about 4 months use total, if that's any help. Thanks again.

8 hours 8 minutes on battery, SOT @ 5 hours 34 minutes w/ 17% battery left on 30-50% screen brightness, YouTube app @ 12%, Android OS @ 7%, Android system @ 4%. No auto sync, no location and no data turned on (lasts the same whether on WiFi or data).
