Question - equalizer for all sounds/media played on the speakers

hello ,i'm a proud new owner of the xperia Z3, i wanted to know if there is any way to enable/install an equalizer for all sounds/media played on the front stereo speakers without rooting and installing a custom ROM, they sound quite muffled ,thx
