Question on a replaced Screen

I just got my screen replaced because the other kept shutting off. This new one is great but there is some light shining from the bottom of the lcd. And its not the home buttons. They are off. Anyone else notice this?

Sounds like maybe bad work by the tech. Try taking it back and showing them and see what they think. I'm assuming you mean that a service center replaced the screen, right?

Yeah, I showed them and they said it was normal. I've had few EVO's and none had this. You really only notice on light backgrounds.

Oh I think I know what you're talking about now. It's at the very bottom of the screen itself, above the home buttons? I think those are the LED's used for the backlight. Probably just a manufacturing difference. There's 4 of them, right? I can see them at mine, too, but I have to hold my EVO at an extreme angle to see them. Looking at the screen normally I can't see them at all.

The one I can see is right between the home button and menu. It's not a deal breaker but just noticeable.
