Question on a Xoom

Yesterday I was gifted an unactivated Verizon xoom with the 4g card already in it.
My question(s) is:
How would I activate it on a 3g--only data prepaid plan?
Also,what would the price/month be for 2gb?

There is no difference between plans for4g and 3g. The Xoom will pick up whichever is there.

Price plan for 2gb is $30 per month.

When I upgraded mine, I had the same question regarding the plan and 3g/4g.

I really like mine. I hope you do too.

its not a choice of 3G or 4G its whats in the area. the zoom will pick up whats there.

OK. I think the xoom may have been activated before, not sure. How would I go about starting the prepaid plan? The Verizon website asks for a phone number, this is not a phone.

Tablets have a phone number for the SIM card even though they are not a phone... if you don't know what it is, you probably need to visit a Verizon store so they can set you up with a new SIM card.

You got to talk to Verizon to get it under your name since u bought it used.
