Question on notification led light.

I see that the 5x and 6p will have the notification light working right out of the box. Is that with how they built the notification light on those phones or is it from marshmallow. If it is marshmallow that would be nice if it added the same support on the nexus 6 then so those not rooted would have the option to use it if they wanted.

The LED on the 5X and 6P is active out of the box.
I have not heard if 6.0 will activate the LED light on the Nexus 6.
Would be cool if they did.

Would absolutely love it if they did. Was one of my favorite features in BlackBerry and then my GNex. Please Google!!!!

You can root and the LED will work.
I did and am using CyanogenMod 12.1 and they have the LED light as part of their ROM.

Root it and use lightflow and it will work nut if they let it work without root in marshmallow it would be better.
