Hey all.
I am currently using a Samsung Galaxy S3 and while it still is functioning, I think it's time for a new phone. This phone is over 3 years old, it's getting slower, it's cracked plus maybe it's time for a change as this phone holds many memories. I lost my husband 14 months ago and things are pretty tight so I am on a budget.
I've held on to my S3 for so long because I really like phones that are under 5." It's the perfect size for my hands. I don't really require much, I need to be able to text, make and receive calls and browse the Internet, take decent photos of my little one and my balcony garden. Maybe a couple of games for my son. I was thinking about the Alcatel Idol 3 the 4.7 version but I noticed online the battery is listed as 2000 mAh. All of this wordiness to ask if anyone has the 4.7 version and/or can speak to the battery life of this device. I don't want a device where I have to worry about constantly charging it.
Couple things to note: I am in Canada. The Moto G here is only being sold in the 8GB version, I require at least 16GB. I'm not willing to go on contract for my next phone as I intend to keep my grandfathered and inexpensive plan. I'm not really comfortable with spending more than $300.
